Citroën has made good on its promise. The brand had already signposted a more affordable version of the ë-C3, but one crucial step was still missing: bringing it to Portugal. That is no longer in doubt.

Badged the Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range, it is now available to order, with prices starting at 19 990 euros.

Until now, the all-electric ë-C3 line-up was limited to the Comfort Range version, which pairs a 44 kWh battery with a driving range of up to 326 km (WLTP cycle).

Compared with that model, the more budget-friendly ë-C3 stands out by quoting up to 212 km of combined-range driving (WLTP), made possible by a smaller-capacity 30 kWh battery. Charging is rated at 7,4 kW on alternating current (AC) or 30 kW on direct current (DC).

The electric motor, however, is unchanged: it delivers the same 83 kW (113 hp) and 125 Nm of torque, and is capped at 135 km/h.

The new Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range comes in two equipment levels: You and Plus. The You trim includes a head-up display, a light sensor, electric door mirrors, and driver-assistance systems such as active lane departure warning.

The Plus version adds a 10” touchscreen, heated door mirrors, a rain sensor, and automatic high-beam switching, among other features.

Both versions - Urban Range and Comfort Range - are also offered as the Van (with N1 homologation) aimed at professionals in the goods-delivery sector, priced from 23 300 euros.

Citroën ë-C3: from what price?
