DJI is offering its new Mini 5 Pro at the price of a standard drone this Black Friday (-44%).

The DJI Mini 5 Pro is the brand’s newest model in its class. Even though it has only been on sale for a few months, it is already included in the Black Friday deals… and the discount is anything but small, coming in at close to -45%. Be aware: stock is limited.

Black Friday is also happening on AliExpress this year. That is a completely new move for the retailer, as it does not usually take part in the promotion. This time, however, it has decided to make an exception… and it is not doing things by halves. With an event running from 20 to 28 November (right through to the evening), it is targeting the biggest tech brands, with reductions that are as premium as the products themselves-reaching up to -50%.

Among the deals, the DJI Mini 5 Pro drops to an outstanding price of 579 euros instead of 999 euros with the code FRBF80 or BFFR80. As always, Black Friday is a race against time if you want to save money. That applies across all e-commerce sites, including AliExpress.

Because the offer on the DJI Mini 5 Pro is as limited as the discount itself, the smartest move is simply to act quickly so you do not miss this golden opportunity. The same applies across the wider catalogue, which is why it is strongly recommended not to wait when a product catches your eye at a low price.

When it comes to the DJI Mini 5 Pro, AliExpress is sticking to its usual approach. As with its other products, the device is shipped free of charge and quickly-and the drone even ships from France, making the wait shorter still. The manufacturer warranty is two years, exactly as if you ordered directly from the official website… not to mention the huge saving available to those who move fast.

DJI Mini 5 Pro: the latest gem from the iconic brand

As the newest release in its line-up, launched in September 2025, the DJI Mini 5 Pro is an ultra-light, foldable drone. At 249 grams, it stays under the 250-gram threshold-the limit for flying without any certification requirements. That makes it suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or highly experienced.

On the specification side, the DJI Mini 5 Pro brings a notable upgrade. The drone features a 1-inch CMOS sensor that can capture 50-megapixel photos and record 4K video at up to 120 frames per second. The outcome is highly convincing, delivering footage that is smooth, detailed, and well suited to modern formats (including vertical video for social networks, for instance). On this model, the gimbal can now rotate to 225 degrees, enabling more creative, flexible shots with dynamic camera movements.

One of the DJI Mini 5 Pro’s key innovations is its advanced omnidirectional obstacle-detection system, which now incorporates a forward-facing LiDAR unit along with multiple 360-degree vision sensors. Thanks to this technology, the drone benefits from improved safety and a more optimised return-to-home even in challenging conditions. The Nightscape mode, paired with LiDAR, enhances night-time navigation (or in low light) and reduces the risk of accidents. These options will appeal to beginners and make the drone far easier to get to grips with.

On the creative side, the DJI Mini 5 Pro includes numerous intelligent modes such as MasterShots, QuickShots, and Waypoints, which automate camera movements to help you produce complex, cinematic sequences with ease. In addition, the ability to film in HDR 4K/60 fps and record in 10-bit using the H.265 codec promises image quality that is close to professional. The drone also includes 4K/120 fps slow motion and Med‑Tele (equivalent to a 48 mm lens) for close-up shots or zooming without any loss of quality.

Battery life is another strong point for the DJI Mini 5 Pro: maximum flight time can reach up to 52 minutes thanks to an optimised battery, which is an excellent result for such a compact model. Compatible with several controllers (DJI RC 2 and DJI RC N3), it supports a video transmission range of up to 20 km under the FCC standard (10 km under CE) with low latency. Finally, ease of use is boosted by QuickTransfer transfers up to 100 MB/s via Wi‑Fi 6, a remote wake-up system, and the ability to manage your images within the DJI Fly app.
