DS Automobiles unveiled the Taylor Made Nº4 Concept at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show. This one-off prototype was created in collaboration with Taylor Barnard, DS Penske’s new driver in the FIA Formula E World Championship.
Developed from the DS Nº4 as its starting point, the project brings together two worlds that have been closely linked for decades: motorsport and video games. According to the brand, the hatchback’s proportions provided the foundation for a more extreme interpretation, shaped by racing aesthetics and the visual language of gaming.
The reveal took place on the DS Automobiles stand, alongside the DS Penske DS E-TENSE FE25 single-seater driven by Taylor Barnard. It highlighted the direct connection between road cars and the manufacturer’s Formula E programme-an arena in which DS has already secured four world titles.
From a styling perspective, the Taylor Made Nº4 Concept stands out immediately. Up front, it features headlamps with pixel-like graphics, retaining the production model’s lighting signature but presenting it in a more futuristic form.
At the centre, the grille prominently displays the “Nº4” designation, strengthening the model’s identity. A lowered profile, wider tracks and race-inspired aerodynamic details give it a far more assertive stance.
During the DS Design Studio development process, numerous choices were made around colours, materials and finishes. Working closely with Taylor Barnard, the team explored textures and contrasts influenced by racing and video games, using darker shades punctuated by subtle colour accents.
The outcome was four titanium-themed interpretations: Pure Titanium, Liquid Titanium, Craft Titanium and Black Titanium. Particular attention goes to the third option, an innovative material with a crumpled-metal look that replaces traditional carbon fibre in several areas of the bodywork.
Taylor Barnard’s personal number, 77, is also subtly integrated into various exterior elements.

This concept also serves as a showcase for the DS Performance Line Limited Edition, which will be offered on selected models from the French marque and takes inspiration from the Formula E single-seater. At the brand’s space at the Brussels show, visitors could also see the DS Nº4 E-TENSE DS Performance Line.
The promised connection to gaming will see the Nº4 Concept make its debut in “Driving Empire”, which will be available on the Roblox platform later this year.
