The Audi Q3 Sportback is now available in Portugal, with prices starting at 47 267 euros for the entry-level version.

Sportback styling

In Sportback form, the bodywork is defined by a roofline that sits 29 mm lower and follows a more arched profile, leaning into a coupé-like look. Beyond that, there is little to separate it from the standard Q3: up front it keeps the split headlamp clusters and the Single Frame grille, while the rear is characterised by a full-width light strip. On certain versions, this is further highlighted by the brand’s four illuminated rings.

Even with the lower roofline, the Q3 Sportback retains a 488-litre boot, matching the conventional version. That figure can increase to 575 litres thanks to rear seats that slide longitudinally. However, with the seats folded down, the Q3 Sportback gives up 97 litres versus the Q3: 1289 litres instead of 1386 litres.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard features an 11.9-inch display for the instrument panel and a 12.8-inch central screen. In addition, it also comes fitted with a head-up display.

Powertrains

The standout update for the new-generation Q3 Sportback is its latest plug-in hybrid system, pairing a 1.5 TSI petrol engine producing 177 cv with an 85 kW (116 cv) electric motor. Combined output is 200 kW (272 cv) and 400 Nm of torque.

The battery has also grown substantially, moving from 10.8 kWh to 19.7 kWh usable. This enables up to 118 km of electric range (WLTP) and average consumption of just 1.7 l/100 km. Despite being a plug-in hybrid, it supports 50 kW DC rapid charging, taking only 30 minutes to fully charge the battery.

Alongside the plug-in hybrid version, the Sportback is offered with mild-hybrid petrol (1.5 TFSI) and Diesel (2.0 TDI) engines, both rated at 150 cv (110 kW).

From what price?

The Audi Q3 Sportback can now be ordered in Portugal. The first units are expected to reach the national market in December.
