A substantial discount for early buyers
Sales of Xiaomi’s flagship robot vacuum, the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max, have launched today in China. Xiaomi positions the new model as its strongest option yet for coverage and overall cleaning performance.
Launch pricing, coupon and extras for Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max
The standard version with a water tank is priced at 6599 yuan (955 dollars), but is being offered at launch for 4624 yuan (670 dollars). The variant with an expanded water delivery system costs 6999 yuan (1000 dollars), and is available under the introductory promotion for 5122 yuan (745 dollars). Xiaomi is also including a 400 yuan (60 dollars) coupon, an accessory gift set worth 635 yuan, and a two-year warranty.
AI obstacle recognition using three cameras
A standout feature is an AI-based obstacle recognition system that relies on three cameras. According to Xiaomi, the robot can identify up to 280 objects and 47 types of dirt, including very small items such as a 3 mm-thick headphone cable, and then select an appropriate cleaning strategy for the situation.
Cleaning modes, edge work and obstacle-climbing design
The Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max can sweep, mop and scrape-clean floors at the same time, and it also includes a triple robotic setup designed for cleaning along walls, into corners, and around the legs of tables and chairs. The device uses dual bionic mechanical “legs”, enabling it to clear obstacles up to 6 cm high and move underneath items with leg clearance from 9.3 cm.
35,000 Pa suction, self-cleaning and hair protection
Suction power reaches 35,000 Pa. There is a self-cleaning system, a feature that mimics manual pressure on the mop, and protection against hair tangling: the main brush can cut hair, while the side brush is designed to prevent it from wrapping.
Xiaomi HyperOS integration, XiaoAI and Mijia app control
The robot fits into the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem, comes with the built-in XiaoAI voice assistant, and can be controlled via the Mijia app. In addition, an onboard camera can be used to keep an eye on pets, manage cleaning remotely, make video calls through XiaoAI, and even help the device escape from awkward spots from a distance.
